Sleeping bag for world travel!? - world travel with a sleeping bag
Hello! I'm going back on Friday for a trip to work and stressed galore! I'm going for 3 months, then I will stay in shelters and with family. Do I need a sleeping bag? It is sooo take much space in my backpack then maybe I would have coverage, as it seems ridiculous, something so big that I will probably not end up on anyway ... I walk with a friend and shes with a backpack ... Focusing on his ego! Thank you very much for any help

I doubt that you will need a sleeping bag, although I recommend you get a good wieght coverage of the light and the road bed (liner).
I just wanted to travel RTW 1.5 months - 7 months and never had a sleeping bag, and I was on all continents, including Antarctica (I was on a cruise so there is no need for a sleeping bag). RTW trip, I had my first cover and sewn in the same way as a sleeping bag and took all my travels, RT and other trips abroad. In my long journey had nearly every continent, a thin blanket, sewn in the form of a sleeping bag that takes up much less space (I use it, not all covers for the whole 7 months). The shelters are almost always sheeted the cost and the strange place that do not pay the fees, provided that can. Many hostels do not have your sleeping bag in a room with bedbugss can be easily carried away in sleeping bags.
Ditch the sleeping bag! The only time she would have placed that, if anywhere in tents.
Congratulations on your big OE, you will love and trust in me when I say backpack / travel can be addictive. Most hostels and hotels offer sheet and I can understand taking a sleeping bag on the way to ... so I do not, I still have a lot of times when you have a plan for a campsite in this case, they have a tent. Ive backpack for a very long supported the Lonely Planet and some countries have experienced poverty in which they have never met is required. Worst case is whether you need it, buy it where you are;)
